  1. SAB Diskette Utility is a Windows 3 application that provides
  2. the user with a set of services that makes the copying,
  3. comparing, and formatting of diskettes a pleasure instead of
  4. a pain.  It makes use of the Input/Output Control interface to
  5. read/format/write a track at a time.  It will copy, in a single
  6. pass, the entire contents of a diskette, at the sector level,
  7. into an image either in memory or in a temporary hard disk file.
  8. The image can then be used to produce multiple copies of the
  9. original diskette.  It also can be saved in a file on a hard
  10. disk.  Read/compare/write operations can be limited to allocated
  11. cylinders to conserve time and image space. The system makes use
  12. of the Windows 3 Messages and Timers to work cooperatively with
  13. other Windows 3 applications. Supports unlimited number of
  14. diskette drives.

  20.    DOS 3.2 or higher.
  21.    Windows 3.1 or higher.

  23. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT FREE.  IT IS OFFERED ON A "SHAREWARE" BASIS.
  24. YOU HAVE A TEMPORARY LICENSE TO USE THIS PRODUCT FOR THIRTY DAYS
  25. TO EVALUATE ITS USEFULNESS TO YOU.  IF YOU WISH TO KEEP USING
  26. IT YOU MUST  REGISTER IT.

  28. The difference types of licenses available are:
  29.  
  30. Home Use ($20 US): This license gives the user the right to install a
  31. copy of SAB Diskette Utility on one non-commercial machine used
  32. at home.  A registration key will be provided that turns off the
  33. single beg screen at program termination.  An optional diskette
  34. containing the most current released version of the software for
  35. is available for an additional $7.50.

  37. Business - Single CPU ($30 US):  This license gives the user the right
  38. to install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on one CPU used in
  39. the performance of the user's business.  A registration key will be
  40. provided that turns off the single beg screen at program termination.
  41. An optional diskette containing the most current released version of
  42. the software is available for an additional $7.50.

  44. Business - Site ($200 US):  This license gives the user the right to
  45. install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on up to 100 machines used
  46. in the performance of the user's business at one location.  Additional
  47. installations at the same location are $2 per machine.
  48. A registration key will be provided that turns off the single beg
  49. screen at program termination.  A diskette will be provided that
  50. contains the most current released version of the software.

  52. Business--Unlimited ($500 US):  This license gives the user the right
  53. to install a copy of SAB Diskette Utility on up to 500 machines used
  54. in the performance of the user's business anywhere in the world.
  55. Additional installations are $1 per machine.  A registration key will
  56. be provided that turns off the single beg screen at program termination.
  57. A diskette will be provided that contains the most current released
  58. version of the software.

  60. The business licenses also gives one user of each of those machines
  61. the right to install SAB Diskette Utility on a non-commercial
  62. machine used at home.  This right to use SAB Diskette Utility at
  63. home ceases if the user leaves the company holding the business
  64. license.

  66. To register it select the registration option on the main menu,
  67. fill in the information, print the completed form, sign it, and
  68. send it with a check drawn on a US bank for the appropriate amount
  69. or with US currency to the address shown on the form.  Purchase
  70. orders can be used for Site and Unlimited licenses provided that the
  71. invoice will be paid by a check drawn on a US bank.

  73. Note: All registration keys will be recognized by new versions that
  74.       are released within six months of the original registration.
